As our NQS Quality & Moderation Specialist youll play a critical role in strengthening consistency confidence and integrity in Assessment & Rating practices. Working at a national level youll lead moderation and calibration provide expert guidance on the NQF and turn quality insights into meaningful improvement for children services and teams.
This is a high-impact specialist role for someone who thrives on quality evidence and building capability across a geographically dispersed workforce.
Your Impact:
In this role youll be a trusted authority on NQS interpretation and internal A&R assurance. Youll lead national moderation and calibration processes ensuring assessments are consistent evidence-based and aligned with regulatory expectations across all jurisdictions.
Youll strengthen the quality and reliability of internal A&R practice by reviewing assessments refining tools and conducting assurance checks that lift confidence in ratings and reporting. Through targeted coaching learning resources and collaboration with the NQS Partner Lead youll build capability and professional judgement across the NQS Partner network.
Your analysis of national trends and systemic risks will inform continuous improvement support regulatory engagement and contribute to Goodstarts advocacy and quality strategy. Ultimately your work will help ensure fair consistent assessments and stronger quality outcomes for children and families nationwide.
