Position Purpose


Mercy Care Atlanta is seeking a dynamic and missiondriven Director of Clinic Operations to oversee clinical operations across both fixed and mobile service sites. This leader ensures the delivery of highquality compassionate and costeffective care to underserved populations. The Director drives operational excellence oversees program budgets ensures regulatory compliance and partners closely with Clinical Directors to advance integrated care while upholding the Mercy philosophy.

What You Will Do

In this essential leadership role you will:

  • Direct daily clinic operations staffing patient flow and service delivery.

  • Lead the Operations Team providing coaching support supervision and performance management.

  • Oversee program planning implementation and communication across operational departments.

  • Ensure compliance with federal state and local regulations including grant and contractual requirements.

  • Monitor operational outcomes financial performance and KPIs to drive process improvements.

  • Partner with internal and external stakeholders to maintain strong communication and customer service standards.

  • Support initiatives to enhance clinic efficiency team engagement and patient experience.

  • Represent Mercy Care in the community with professionalism and a commitment to service.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in Business Administration Healthcare Administration or a related field required; Masters degree preferred.

  • Minimum seven years of supervisory/management experience in healthcare.

  • Strong demonstrated management skills and leadership skills with proven ability to motivate teams and manage complex operations.

  • Experience in practice management billing and collections and advanced ambulatory EMR systems.

  • Strong analytical strategic planning and assessment capabilities.

  • Knowledge of OSHA employment law OMB Circular A133 and other regulatory requirements.

  • Ability to build credibility with clinical staff collaborate effectively and drive change.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication negotiation and conflictresolution skills.

  • Professional demeanor strong interpersonal skills and the ability to manage confidential information with discretion.

  • Highly organized selfdirected and capable of managing multiple priorities in fastpaced environments.
