Job Summary
An exciting opportunity exists for a skilled Revit / BIM Modeller to join a dynamic structural engineering team in Durban. This role offers involvement in highend commercial residential and industrial building projects with exposure to a wide range of complex structural designs.
Job Description:
- Produce detailed structural models and drawings using Revit
- Assist engineers with BIM model development detailing and project documentation
- Coordinate with structural engineers to accurately interpret and deliver design requirements
- Maintain Revit models throughout all design phases
- Participate in project meetings and assist with coordination
- Support project planning and ensure documentation aligns with BIM standards
Skills & Experience:
- Minimum 25 years experience as a Structural Revit / BIM Modeller
- Solid proven exposure to Revit software (essential)
- Strong organisational and project management abilities
- Experience working on building structures including:
- Retail shopping centres
- Commercial buildings with deep basements
- Highrise apartments
- Residential and luxury homes
- Industrial distribution centres and factories
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate across disciplines
Qualification:
- BSc or BTech in Civil Engineering.
Only South African Residents or individuals with a relevant South African work permit will be considered.
