The Position

Network Strategy as part of PT strategy (PTY) is responsible for the definition of our Network of the Future and future state PT strategy to support and enable our Pharma Vision. We activate and catalyze this through a series of programs at the enterprise level. Our leaders sit between development manufacturing supply chain and commercial global functions and markets providing a unique view to the full industrialization and commercialization requirements of our portfolio and in doing so shape and define our future manufacturing network strategy. Through leadership and partnerships we ensure that we robustly enable objective data driven hypothesis analysis and recommendations to senior leadership on strategic network choices.

The Opportunity

• Leading strategic assessments for non-product-specific capabilities and investment plans to ensure that PT is investing in the right capacity at the right time to meet the desired competitive and technology goals.

• Collaborating predominantly with the PTY strategy partners in the definition of our future state and enabling the robust analysis of key business and technical considerations to enable robust decision-making.

• Operating as required with various levels in the organization including PTLT and MU operating leaders respective site leaders PTY PTD and finance colleagues and leadership.

• Ensuring by collaborating with functional experts robust financial assessments and forward looking strategy capital needs ensuring we are deploying the fit for purpose capabilities of the future.

• Delivering integrated and robust analysis and design framing for choices to support long-term investments that can shape multi-million investment decisions.

• Leading and collaborating within a matrix organization to drive strategic alignment.

• Providing strong analytical and systems thinking to solve complex organizational challenges.

• Utilizing outstanding framing presentation and communication skills to influence senior leadership.

You are a strategic thinker with a high degree of business acumen and an enterprise-level perspective. You possess excellent matrix leadership skills and the proven ability to build trust and work collaboratively within a dynamic environment. You are a natural storyteller capable of conveying complex analysis to senior leadership and you excel at managing relationships and influencing others without formal authority.

Furthermore you possess the following qualifications and experience:

• Master or Bachelor degree preferably in Life sciences engineering and/or business disciplines.

• 7-10 or more years of related experience in a professional environment.

• Cross-functional leadership experience and/or experience in development manufacturing finance or supply chain.

• Proven experience in storytelling and communicating complex data to all management levels confidently.

• Demonstrated ability to influence others to achieve objectives in an environment of competing priorities.
