Do you want to help us build the DNA of tech Vishay Dale Electronics Columbus NE is currently seeking applicants for a Cost Analysis Intern. Overtime is available as needed.

Job Location: Vishay Dale Electronics Columbus NE is one of the worlds largest manufacturers of resistors and e-beam technology.

Position Summary: Performs general cost accounting functions. Supports management with analysis concerning variable margin of projects. Manages projects as assigned. Assists with Inventory Cycle Counts and Reconciliations.

What you will be doing:

• Update and analyze Cost Models Price Costs and BOMs

• Assist in Cost of Sales Reporting and other Month End reporting

• Reviews cost of products and selling prices.

• Assesses the reasonableness and completeness of cost standards.

What you will bring along:

• High School diploma or equivalent.

• Must be enrolled in a Bachelors Degree Program preferably with an Accounting emphasis as this is an internship opportunity.

• Has good understanding of inventory types Dale production processes and reporting methods.

• Must be proficient in the use of computers and software applications including Microsoft Office applications.

Physical Demands Work Environment and Required Safety Equipment:

Generally good working conditions. Most days will be spent at a desk working on the computer. May have occasional exposure to dust noise heat or mild chemicals. When present these elements can make conditions less desirable than the usual office environment. Would see when conducting inventory counts in production and the warehouse.
