Role Overview
The CFO is a strategic finance leader responsible for safeguarding cash flow enhancing profitability managing financial risks and supporting senior management in business decision-makingparticularly within a marine or maritime environment.
Key Responsibilities
Financial Leadership & Governance

Lead the finance and accounting function and ensure accurate monthly reporting

Strengthen internal controls approval frameworks and governance standards
-
Oversee GST tax compliance and corporate regulatory requirements
-
Liaise with auditors tax agents and banking partners
Cash Flow & Working Capital (Critical)
-
Manage weekly and monthly cash flow forecasting
-
Improve accounts receivable collections and optimize accounts payable terms
-
Plan cash requirements for projects and service operations
Budgeting & Cost Management
-
Prepare annual budgets and rolling forecasts
-
Monitor cost variances (e.g. overtime travel subcontracting spares)
-
Drive cost-optimization initiatives without disrupting operations
Pricing Margin & Profitability
-
Analyze profitability by project service contract and customer
-
Support tender pricing and commercial decision-making
-
Review manpower utilization and overtime impact on margins
Strategic Business Support

Act as key finance partner to the CEO/Managing Director

Evaluate new investments and business opportunities

Perform scenario planning and capital expenditure analysis

Minimum 1015 years of progressive finance leadership experience within marine maritime or related industries

Singapore Citizen or Permanent Resident
-
Willing to travel regionally when required
