Position Summary
The Child Care PRN Assistant provides flexible on-call support in the classroom and activity areas. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with children thrives in a dynamic environment and can step in seamlessly when additional coverage is needed.
Key Responsibilities

Assist lead teachers and staff with daily classroom activities

Supervise children to ensure safety and well-being at all times

Support learning activities playtime and structured programs

Help maintain a clean organized and welcoming environment

Communicate effectively with staff regarding daily routines and needs

Follow all safety health and licensing guidelines
Qualifications
-
High school diploma or equivalent required
-
Experience working with children (daycare preschool church nursery camp etc.) preferred
-
CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)

Ability to be flexible and available on short notice

Strong communication and teamwork skills

Patient energetic and dependable
