Duration: 13 Weeks
Shift: Days 5x8s (8:00 AM 5:00 PM)
Estimated Weekly Pay: $2129.55
Position Overview
We are seeking a Travel Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) for a Home Health assignment in the San Jose California area. The PTA will provide in-home therapy services under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist delivering care in accordance with approved treatment plans and patient-specific goals.
This role requires strong independence organization and the ability to manage a home health caseload throughout the South Bay region.
Key Responsibilities

Implement physical therapy treatment plans in patients homes

Provide therapeutic exercises and modalities as directed by the supervising PT

Document all patient interactions and treatment progress accurately

Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members

Educate patients and caregivers on home exercise programs and safety techniques

Maintain compliance with agency state and federal regulations
Required Qualifications

Active California PTA License (in hand at time of submission)

Minimum 2 years of PTA experience REQUIRED

Home Health experience REQUIRED

BLS Certification (AHA or American Red Cross required)

Ability to meet 50-mile travel requirement
