What youll do:
Perform clerical accounting procedures requiring basic to intermediate experience with accounting practices under US GAAP while adhering to SOX internal controls.
Manage accounts payable and billing processes.
Assist Plant Controller with monthly accounting close tasks such as generating system reports and completing reconciliations.
Input production and usage into ERP system from inventory control system.
Assist Controller with inventory cycle counts and resolving count variances.
Interact with various departments to gather accounting data and assist in problem resolution.
Perform day-to-day administrative tasks such as maintaining information files filing scanning documents copying and processing paperwork.
Additional Qualifications/Responsibilities
We need you to have:
Degree in Accounting Business or related field of study or equivalent experience in an accounting role.
1 - 2 years accounting experience or related field preferred.
Must be detail-oriented and have strong time management skills
Possess excellent oral and written communication skills.
Ability to work additional hours as needed to accommodate work fluctuations and deadlines.
Experience using integrated ERP software (e.g. Oracle SAP JD Edwards OnBase) and MS Office.
