The Northwest Career and Technical Center (NCTC) in St. Albans is seeking an Engineering Technology Instructor for high school students. The Engineering Technology Instructor delivers a comprehensive Career & Technical Education (CTE) program aligned with the STEM Career Cluster and Engineering & Technology Pathway standards. Through rigorous project-based instruction students integrate academic foundations with hands-on applications in design drafting manufacturing coding automation and systems development. The program prepares students for postsecondary education apprenticeships and high-demand careers across civil mechanical electrical and manufacturing engineering develop skills in engineering theory applied physics control systems technical drawing and the mathematics essential to engineering technology. Through the engineering design process project management and quality assurance practices students complete industry-aligned culminating projects that mirror applications found in various engineering fields. Instruction incorporates emerging technologies including artificial intelligence (AI) for modeling simulation and data-informed problem-solving while emphasizing ethical safe and professional engineering and/or Experience: A minimum of four years equivalent work experience. Bachelors degree. Certificates licenses Registrations: Valid Vermont Teaching License with appropriate endorsement for academic assignment and/or level of assignment. The Vermont Teaching License can be earned synchronously while working.
