Accounting Specialist
Status: Full-time 37.5 hours per week
Schedule: Monday - Friday 8:00 am 4:00 pm (flexibility with start and stop time)
Location: Camp Hill PA
What Were Looking For:
- 18 years of age
- A valid drivers license
- Access to vehicle with valid insurance registration and inspection
- Associates degree or technical certification within a related area preferred
- Two years of previous job-related experience preferred
- Ability to communicate read write and interpret English
- Preferred: Prior experience with Pennsylvania Medicaid billing and the Pennsylvania PROMISe and HCSIS systems
As an Accounting Specialist youll support UCP Central PAs mission by ensuring accurate billing reliable financial processes and strong revenue management. Youll help manage Medicaid and private pay billing monitor payments resolve issues and support reporting and audits all while partnering with internal teams to keep our programs running smoothly for the people we serve.
What Youll Do:
- Process PROMISe (Medicaid) and private pay billing accurately and on time
- Review billing reports resolve rejections and follow up on unpaid or unbilled claims
- Support accounts receivable tracking and timely payment collection
- Upload billing data and assist with general ledger reconciliations
- Contribute to budget preparation financial reporting and audit support
- Serve as backup for billing and payment posting functions
- Partner with internal teams to improve processes and ensure compliance
