Location: State College Pennsylvania
Employment Type: Contract 13 Weeks
Setting: Outpatient Clinic (Onsite)
Schedule: Monday Friday 8:00 AM 4:30 PM
Weekly Gross Pay: $1400 $1600 (based on experience)

Position Overview

An established outpatient clinic in Pennsylvania is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to support patient care within a Weight Management Clinic.

This role requires strong clinical judgment excellent communication skills and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced medical office environment. The LPN will collaborate closely with providers and clinical staff to deliver quality care and patient education.

Required Qualifications

Graduate of an accredited school of Practical Nursing
Active Pennsylvania LPN license
Current BLS certification (Healthcare Provider level)
Minimum 1 year of nursing experience preferred
Knowledge of practical nursing procedures medication administration and patient safety protocols
Familiarity with ICD-10 and CPT coding guidelines
Ability to make sound clinical decisions and respond calmly in emergency situations

Key Responsibilities

Assist providers with patient examinations diagnostics and treatment procedures
Administer medications and treatments as ordered
Operate medical equipment for assessment and monitoring
Provide patient education and support to families and caregivers
Maintain infection control and safety standards
Respond appropriately to urgent or emergency clinical situations
Support clinic workflow including documentation and scheduling

Working Conditions

Fast-paced high-volume outpatient clinic
Exposure to communicable diseases and medical substances
Requires standing walking sitting for extended periods
Must be able to lift/carry up to 50 lbs
Requires manual dexterity and normal corrected vision/hearing
