Job Summary
Registered Nurse (RN) Coronary Care Unit (CCU)

Shift: Nights 3x12-Hour (7:00 PM 7:00 AM)
Schedule Requirements: Every other weekend some holidays
Position Overview
A large acute care hospital in Central New York is seeking experienced CCU/Adult ICU Registered Nurses. Candidates will be placed in adult ICU areas based on prior experience.
This is a high-acuity environment requiring strong critical care skills and the ability to work with minimal orientation and supervision.
Unit Requirements
Adult ICU / CCU experience required
Level I or Level II Trauma experience strongly preferred
Experience in hospitals of equal or greater size required
Experience with EPIC EMR preferred
Key Responsibilities
Provide comprehensive critical care nursing in an acute setting
Perform advanced patient assessments
Deliver high-quality evidence-based nursing care
Manage hemodynamically unstable patients
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams
Document accurately within EMR
Function independently with minimal supervision
Required Qualifications
Current New York State RN License/Registration
BLS Certification (must be current and able to recertify)
Minimum 1.5 years recent ICU/CCU experience (within the past 2 years)
Acute care experience in a facility of similar size and acuity
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
No prior license suspension investigation or professional liability claims
Legal authorization to work in the U.S.
Successful completion of pre-employment health clearance
Must pass drug screening and criminal background check
