To monitor and patrol premises interacting and providing information to control and primarily manage improper smoking and parking and to communicate suspicious activity as appropriate.Education & Experience
High School Diploma/GED. Valid drivers license. Prefer prior experience interacting with public.
Certifications Licenses or Registration Required: Valid drivers license.
Knowledge Skills & Abilities
Excellent verbal communication skills interpersonal skills to interact with patients visitors and staff. Excellent observational skills and ability listen to customer complaints and concerns.
Responsibilities
- Patrols campus and interacts with public and staff as needed to control smoking or parking in unauthorized areas; informs persons of tobacco treatment options.
- Provides special service functions such as assisting individuals experiencing motor vehicle problems.

Physical and Environmental Demands
Requires frequent exposure to unpleasant or disagreeable physical environment such as high noise level and exposure to heat and cold frequent handling or working with potentially dangerous equipment occasional exposure to bio-hazardous conditions such as risk of radiation exposure blood borne pathogens fumes or airborne particles and/or toxic or caustic chemicals which mandate attention to safety considerations occasional working hours significantly beyond regularly scheduled hours constant travelling to offsite locations occasional activities subject to significant volume changes of a seasonal/clinical nature frequent bending occasional lifting and carrying more than 100 pounds occasional climbing occasional crawling occasional crouching/stooping frequent driving occasional kneeling occasional pushing/pulling frequent reaching occasional sitting frequent standing occasional twisting and frequent walking. (occasional-up to 20% frequent-from 21% to 50% constant-51% or more)
