Job Summary
To contribute to our efforts and support the teams that build great products we are looking for an SMT Process Supervisor located at Guadalajara North Campus.
Reporting to the Process engineer this role is responsible for supervising critical SMT processes ensuring the correct execution of production plans and leading the technical team to meet quality cost delivery and continuous improvement objectives.
What a typical day looks like:
- Supervise technical activities in SMT processes and coordinate the team.
- Develop and optimize programs for DEK SPI Camalot and Press Fit equipment.
- Analyze and validate stencils; perform SPI debug and P&P failure analysis.
- Develop reflow profiles and validate fixtures and pallets.
- Create procedures visual aids and technical presentations.
- Perform capacity calculations rates process mapping and root-cause analysis.
- Document and implement continuous improvement actions and Kaizen events.
The experience were looking to add to our team:
- Engineering degree or equivalent experience in electronic manufacturing.
- Experience in SMT PTH and Backend processes including paste printing SPI edge bonding and smart torque systems.
- Knowledge of stencil design reflow profiling tooling/fixture design and pallet validation.
- Familiarity with IPCA610 CPK calculations CAD/Gerber files and MS Office.
- Previous experience supervising and developing technical personnel.
- Experience with production control systems (serial control flows traceability).
