Scent Fragrances Innovation Creation & Design Laboratory:
The Laboratory Supervisor supports the Laboratory Manager in leading daily lab operations to ensure highquality samples and application evaluations are delivered on time and in full while promoting safety efficiency and continuous improvement within the lab.
This position is based onsite in Tlalnepantla State of Mexico working Monday to Friday with schedule flexibility to cover the core schedule from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Where Youll Make a Difference
- Support the Laboratory Manager in coordinating daily activities within the Fragrance Applications Laboratory.
- Assist technicians with sample preparation and application evaluations ensuring accuracy quality and compliance with procedures.
- Organize workloads set priorities and ensure resources are aligned with daily and weekly laboratory demand.
- Contribute to the efficiency and ontime performance of laboratory operations.
- Manage laboratory supplies and inventories to ensure continuous availability for sample generation.
- Maintain a safe clean and organized laboratory environment ensuring equipment is in good working condition and properly maintained.
- Perform duties associated with handson laboratory and application processes supporting fragrance development and evaluation.
- Prepare information for monthly KPIs and laboratory performance reports.
- Create improve and standardize Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for sample preparation application processes and equipment operation.
- Support onboarding and training of new lab technicians and trainees.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders such as Perfumers Scent Design Managers Sales Support and Applications teams.
What Makes You the Right Fit
- Bachelors degree in Chemical Engineering Industrial Engineering Chemistry or related fields.
- 23 years of experience working in a laboratory environment preferably focused on applications or fragrance manufacturing processes.
- Knowledge of fragrance application processes and laboratory workflows.
- Basic to intermediate knowledge of ISO standards (ISO 9001 ISO 45001 ISO 14001).
- Intermediate level of English (written and verbal).
- Strong understanding of laboratory safety best practices for people product and equipment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools.
- Strong planning organization and problemsolving skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively across functions.
- Flexibility in schedule to support laboratory operations when required.
