Make an impact on our Customer Migration Program of Work within UNITE!
Whats the role
This Senior Business Analyst role will support the Customer Migration Program of Work by facilitating large system migration helping move products processes and customer data from legacy systems to a new platform.
UNITE is Westpacs transformation initiate focused on making our processes systems and tech simpler in order to deliver a better experience for our customers our people and reduce risk! The Customer Migration Program of Work is a critical part of this transformation initiative.
*You must have experience in Customer Origination and Servicing Product Origination and Ideally Customer Migration.
*This is NOT a general BA or a technical data migration role.
Responsibilities and Accountabilities include:
- Partnering with business stakeholders and program leadership to ensure seamless migration of products processes and data from legacy systems to the new platform.
- Bridge business needs and technical solutions ensuring the migration delivers operational efficiency compliance and an improved customer experience.
- Elicit document and validate business requirements for migration activities including customer data product portfolios workflows etc.
- Map current-state (AS-IS) processes and design future-state (TO-BE) processes aligned with the new core banking system.
- Identify gaps dependencies and potential risks in migration plans.
- Act as a liaison between business stakeholders and technology teams ensuring alignment on requirements and delivery outcomes.
- Support user acceptance testing (UAT) data validation cycles and defect triage.
What do I need
- Extensive experience as a Senior Business Analyst within the Banking Industry or Financial Sector (10 plus years)
- Experience with Customer Origination and Servicing
- Experience with Product Origination
- Ideally experience with Customer Migration Customer to Account Relationships and Authority Migration
- High level of stakeholder management skills as this program of work will cross over many business areas.
Additional skills and experience required include:
- Solid understanding of data migration validation and reconciliation processes
- Skilled in data analysis data management and governance
- Experience in requirement gathering process modelling and gap analysis
- Experience working in agile/ waterfall hybrid environments within large scale programs
- Strong knowledge of banking products (e.g. customers accounts transactions deposits loans payments treasury)
