Whats the role
This Senior Business Analyst role supports a large system migration helping move products processes and customer data from legacy systems to a new platform. This role will partner with business stakeholders and program leadership to gather analyse and document business requirements ensuring seamless migration of products processes and data from legacy systems to the new platform.
The Business Analyst will play a critical role in bridging business needs and technical solutions ensuring the migration delivers operational efficiency compliance and an improved customer experience.
Key Responsibilities include:
  • Elicit document and validate business requirements for migration activities including customer data product portfolios workflows etc.
  • Map current-state (AS-IS) processes and design future-state (TO-BE) processes aligned with the new core banking system.
  • Identify gaps dependencies and potential risks in migration plans.
  • Act as a liaison between business stakeholders and technology teams ensuring alignment on requirements and delivery outcomes.
  • Support user acceptance testing (UAT) data validation cycles and defect triage.
What do I need
To be successful in this position you should have experience as a Business Analyst or Senior Business Analyst in the Financial Sector / Banking industry and previously worked on Customer and/ or Product Origination and Servicing programs.
Additional skills and experience required include:
  • Solid understanding of data migration validation and reconciliation processes
  • Skilled in data analysis data management and governance
  • Experience in requirement gathering process modelling and gap analysis
  • Experience working in agile/ waterfall hybrid environments within large scale programs
  • Strong knowledge of retail and/or business banking products (e.g. deposits loans payments treasury)
