What we are looking for
We are looking for an Entry-Level Engineer that will work with a variety of engineering projects at a project site in West Covina. Initially your primary focus will be on report writing and data analysis but will grow with experience. You will also provide design support for landfills and landfill gas systems permitting construction plans construction oversight along with working in the field. This position will report to our West Covina location on-site.
How you can make an impact
Provide data analysis and independently write reports
Communicate with staff regulatory agencies and clients
Assist other staff in overseeing drilling activities involving probe and well installation borehole logging well development well construction monitoring and sampling
Conduct and document construction quality assurance observations and similar construction inspections for compliance with design plans specification and construction details
Complete quality control reviews on work products (reports design plans calculations data etc.) before submittal to the Project or Task Manager
Work with the Project or Task Manager to coordinate with contractors subcontractors and clients
Compile data and help prepare portions of reports processing toward the ability to prepare complete reports such as environmental site assessments emissions monitoring groundwater/soil investigation compliance and other project reporting
Help prepare permit applications and regulatory agency submittals and responses with supporting documentation as requested including research of regulatory requirements
Compile data and prepare basic calculations for reports and to support design documents and other studies
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Chemical Civil Mechanical Environmental Engineering or Earth Sciences is required. Must graduate before Summer 2026.
- 3 months of relevant environmental and/or engineering internship or work experience preferred
- Valid Drivers License with a driving record in good standing is required.
Pay Range
USD $70699.20 - USD $80000.00 /Yr.
