How youll contribute

AnUltrasound Technicianwho excels in this role:

• Provides quality ultrasound studies to include abdominal OB vascular neonatal pelvis breast and testicular small parts for use by the radiologist in the diagnosis of patient illness.
• Maintains appropriate files supplies and equipment.
• Perform sonographic examinations and procedures as requested by the referring physician.
• Provide age-appropriate care to patients across the lifespan.
• Maintain supplies and ensure clean and orderly work areas; notify supervisor of needed items.
• Maintain and calibrate equipment to ensure accuracy and longevity.
• Act as a consultant and educational resource for physicians and staff regarding appropriateness and accuracy of scans.
• Participate in performance improvement and continuing education.

What were looking for
Applicants should be a graduate of diagnostic medical sonography program or school of radiology. Additional requirements include:

• ARRT/DMS certification.

• BLS.

• ARRT with one (1) year DMS experience preferred.
