Carrier Solutions Specialist Job Description
Giltner Transportation in Jerome ID is looking for a motivated and results-driven Carrier Solutions this role you will proactively reach out to carriers to offer access to Giltners discounted tire purchasing programs. This position focuses on building strong relationships identifying savings opportunities and helping carriers reduce operational costs through preferred vendor partnerships.
The ideal candidate is confident on the phone comfortable making cold calls and passionate about delivering exceptional customer service. Extensive tire knowledge is not required we will provide training on our programs and partners.
Carrier Solutions Specialist Job Responsibilities
Make outbound calls to carriers to introduce and promote Giltners tire discount programs
Build and maintain strong relationships with carriers
Identify cost-saving opportunities and present program benefits clearly and professionally
Educate carriers on how to access discounted tire pricing through approved vendors
Track outreach efforts and follow up consistently with interested carriers
Maintain accurate records of conversations and enrollments
Collaborate with internal departments to ensure smooth onboarding and support
Meet or exceed established outreach and enrollment goals
Carrier Solutions Specialist Qualifications
Strong customer service and communication skills
Comfortable making outbound cold calls
Self-motivated with a goal-oriented mindset
Professional phone presence and interpersonal skills
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
Experience in transportation logistics or sales is preferred but not required
