Job Description
As a Security Guard - Roving Patrol Driver in Renton WA you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense and more. Join a leading team where flexibility meets opportunity. As a Part-Time Security Officer you can build a schedule that works for you and explore new roles using our Claim a Shift platform. Learn more: As an unarmed driving patrol officer at an aero and defense location you will monitor and patrol assigned areas complete mobile rounds and stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents. You will document observations using a computer and/or tablet communicate clearly with site contacts and deliver customer service that reflects Allied Universal values of agility reliability innovation teamwork and integrity.

What Youll Do:
- Provide customer service to employees visitors and contractors by following site-specific security-related procedures badge requirements and post orders at an aerospace and defense location.
- Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of buildings production areas parking lots and perimeter points to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify hazards or irregular conditions.
- Control access at gates lobbies and/or checkpoints by verifying identification issuing visitor credentials managing deliveries and directing traffic in accordance with site policies.
- Respond to incidents alarms and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner including initiating emergency response activities and communicating with site contacts and public responders as needed.
- Document daily activities patrol observations and incident details in written reports and/or electronic systems and promptly escalate issues through the chain of command.
Minimum Requirements:
- A valid drivers license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- CPR/First Aid - preferred and may be completed post hire.
- Comfortable Using Computer or Tablet - preferred.
- Customer Service Experience - preferred.
- Lift Up to 20 lbs - preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
