Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Senior IT Analyst Technical Infrastructure (Gen AI Architect) to join our Automation and Optimization Bangalore CAT IT Division.

As a GenAI Architect you will design and deploy enterprise-grade Generative AI solutions with a strong focus on DevOps practices for secure scalable implementations. You will build and optimize GenAI applications and cloud architectures leveraging traditional ML techniques to deliver innovative production-ready AI solutions.

The preference for this role is to be based out of Bangalore Caterpillar PSN Whitefield-KA-India

What you will do

• GenAI Development: Design and build Generative AI applications leveraging major cloud platforms (AWS Azure Snowflake) with expertise in LLMs prompt engineering and agentic frameworks.
• DevOps & Deployment: Implement secure scalable deployment strategies for AI/ML models.
• Cloud Architecture: Architect and optimize cloud-based solutions for AI workloads ensuring performance security and cost efficiency.
• Source data from Snowflake Enterprise Data Lake Strategy
• RAG Pipelines: Design and deploy Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) pipelines for advanced data interpretation and standardization.
• Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams to align AI solutions with business objectives and ensure seamless integration into enterprise environments.

What you will have

• 8 to 10 years of progressive development exp out of which minimum 3 years of experience in AI/ML engineering or Data platforms or implantation of Chatbots including production deployments.
• Proficiency in Python and at least one compiled language such as Java or C.
• Strong knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS Azure) and their AI services such as AWS Bedrock and Azure AI Foundry.
• Familiarity with RAG pipelines vector databases and prompt engineering.
• Expertise in CI/CD pipelines security best practices and scalable deployments.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills in dynamic environments.
• This position requires candidate to work a 5-day -a -week schedule in the office

Administers software migration and contingency plans related to own function.
Analyzes the local software architecture components and products.
Tests key features for the entire software infrastructure environment.

Technical Troubleshooting: Knowledge of technical troubleshooting approaches tools and techniques; ability to anticipate recognize and resolve technical issues on hardware software application or operation.
Level Extensive Experience:
Emphasizes the business impact of failure and the criticality and timing of needed resolution so that problems can be avoided in the future.
Creates trouble reports for all issues found and reviews solutions for completeness and correctness.
Directs the resolution of communications problems in multi-vendor environments.
Resolves a variety of hardware software and communications malfunctions.

Technical Writing/Documentation: Knowledge of technical writing; ability to write technical documents such as manuals reports guidelines or documents on standards processes and applications.

Manages cost items in producing and maintaining documentation.
