Corporate & Firmwide Employee Communications is an integral function at JPMorganChase focused on reinforcing the firms culture and keeping employees informed about its priorities and diverse businesses. Members of the team serve as trusted advisors to the firms senior leaders and other communications managers across the company. The team oversees a variety of engagement channels and tools including the corporate intranet (Company Home) firmwide employee newspaper (Ink) digital signage Targeted Email (the firms broadcast email tool) internal exhibits learning sessions and large and small employee meetings and events.

Job Summary

As an Associate in the team youll join a respected and high-performing group that are trusted counselors on Communications strategy reporting to the head of GT Communications for India and APAC and accountable to the head of Communications forConsumer & Community Bankings (CCB) Product & Experience and Technology (PXT) organization. Primary responsibility for this role is to develop and deliver communications strategies that reach across CCBs PXT India organizations. As a member of the team youll join a respected and high-performing group that are trusted counselors on Communications strategy.

The ideal candidate is a self-starter creative and detail-oriented individual who values their teammates and the power of the group in order to execute flawlessly. You should be intellectually curious and passionate to learn more about business technology agile development and other topics in your effort to make complex concepts easily understood.

Youre also a strong writer who tells stories that move people and someone who can manage multiple projects seamlessly.

The role is based either in Mumbai or Bengaluru and will work closely with CCB PXT teams GT Comms team based in India and the CCB PXT Communications team based in the United States.

Job responsibilities

  • Supporting multiple senior executives with communications needs including executive messages site visits presentations and town halls in order to connect with their teams and advance business goals.
  • Creating and executing strategic communications plans including measuring success.
  • Developing and managing communications tactics and channels as needed to support the strategy internally and collaborating with external communications team to amplify the story externally.
  • Seeking out and writing engaging and compelling stories with a human connection.
  • Partnering with internal/external partners to drive innovation new ideas and better ways of communicating including identifying areas of efficiency and ways to execute these responsibilities more simply and effectively.
  • Staying current with and providing guidance on emerging communication methods patterns techniques and technologies/tools.
  • Being a great teammate.

Required qualifications capabilities and skills

  • 7 years of internal corporate and/or executive communications experience including extensive hands-on writing editing project management and presentation building in technology or financial services.
  • BA/BS in Communications Marketing Journalism Public Relations or related degree.
  • Demonstrated success developing executive-level messages providing communications counsel to senior management teams and executing strong communications strategies.
  • Experience working with C-suite executives.
  • Organized self-starter project manager and multi-tasker with a proven ability to track complex and overlapping milestones and manage multiple priorities and urgent deadlines.
  • A creative innovative and strategic thinker with the ability to inspire confidence from and to collaborate closely with teams internal stakeholders and senior leaders.
  • Outstanding judgment and interpersonal skills including partnering effectively with executives peers and other functional groups across the company.
  • High level of independence energy and integrity demonstrating respect for a diversity of opinions and styles taking accountability and accepting responsibility
  • Strong ability to take complex concepts and deliver them into simple/digestible communications.
  • Experience with Intranet design content development and collaboration and measurement tools.
  • Moderate travel across India is expected.

Preferred qualifications capabilities and skills

  • Experience in digital journalism social media digital content
  • Knowledge of Agile methodology
