About the Role

This role supports the implementation and continual improvement of Health Safety and Environment (HSE) systems across Sime Motors New Zealand. As an HSE Advisor you will partner closely with leaders and teams across the business to strengthen risk management support compliance with New Zealand legislation and company standards enhance safety culture and contribute to the delivery of the Group HSE Strategy and sustainability objectives.

You will play a key role in identifying hazards and emerging risks supporting proactive risk management and ensuring HSE systems processes and digital tools are applied effectively across the organization.

What You Will Do

• Support leaders and teams in our central region to meet HSE responsibilities and PCBU obligations.
• Strengthen risk management through proactive hazard identification and continuous improvement.
• Apply and support HSE systems processes and digital tools across the business.
• Promote a positive safety culture through engagement coaching and collaboration.
• Deliver practical highquality HSE advice aligned to legislation company standards and the Group HSE Strategy.

What You Will Bring

• A strong personal commitment to health safety environmental and wellbeing outcomes.
• Relevant HSE qualification or equivalent practical experience.
• Working knowledge of New Zealand HSE legislation and best practice.
• Experience in an HSE advisory or support role ideally in a multisite or complex environment.
• Strong communication risk assessment and problemsolving skills with a collaborative and pragmatic approach.
