Gateway Coordinator

Essential Job Functions

• Coordinate daily inbound and outbound freight through assigned gateway locations
• Ensure accurate shipment documentation system updates and milestone tracking
• Monitor capacity routing performance and service levels across global lanes
• Communicate proactively with stations airlines trucking partners and warehouse teams
• Identify and implement cost-saving opportunities while maintaining service integrity
• Oversee compliance with customs regulations TSA/security requirements.
• Troubleshoot service disruptions delays and exceptions in real time
• Analyze shipment data and performance metrics to improve operational efficiency
• Support carrier negotiations and vendor management initiatives
• Assist in developing SOPs and process improvements within the gateway
• Other duties as assigned

• Technical competence (excel word power point etc.)

• High level of initiative and work well in a team environment
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Plans and carries out responsibilities with minimal direction

Physical Requirements

• Talking hearing and using hands to operate a computer keyboard mouse and other computer components
• Sitting for extended periods of time
• Vision abilities required by this job include close vision and the ability to adjust focus

Education & Experience

• High School Diploma/GED is required
• Bachelors degree preferred
• 1 - 2 years of experience in freight forwarding

CERTIFICATIONS AND LICENSES

• Professional certification may be required in this position.
