The Coventry Village School has an opening for a Math Interventionist for the 2026-27 school year. Candidates should be knowledgeable in mathematical concepts and be able to work collaboratively with the teaching staff in order to offer additional support to the student population. The successful candidate will be able to collect and analyze student data in order to align instruction to the appropriate Multi-Tiered Systems of Support (MTSS) level. Collating this data will form the basis for developing intervention schedules for students identified as needing double-dose targeted or intensive individual and small-group addition to supporting students individually and in small groups the candidate will use evidence-based practices including frequent formative assessment to develop the high-quality interventions required by Vermonts Act 173. The successful candidate will integrate these elements and design a school-wide program that facilitates accurate identification of students needs along the MTSS continuum. Qualifications: An in-depth knowledge of content and pedagogy. Bachelors degree in math or related subject; masters degree or graduate level coursework preferred. The ideal candidate will possess three years of classroom experience with demonstrated effective practices. Excellent presentation and collaborative skills. Oversee progress bi-weekly/monthly progress monitoring Conduct deeper evaluations for at-risk students Create intervention schedule that configures with the schools master schedule Classroom management expertise Strong understanding of the Vermont MTSS Framework and best practice and strategies. A willingness to learn and receptive to & Benefits: As per Teachers Negotiated Agreement.
