As a Medical Office Assistant for Johns Hopkins Community Physicians youll:

• Provide excellent customer service to our patients at JHCP.
• Receive incoming and make outbound telephone calls to schedule appointments process patient medication refills process referrals and take messages for the providers.
• Check patients in and out collect copays and respond to patient messages.
• Verify insurance and collect demographics.

What Youll Need to be Successful:

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 2 years experience in healthcare or customer service preferred.
• EPIC experience is very helpful!

Location: 6410 Rockledge Dr. Suite 200 Bethesda MD 20817(Position will require travel to practices in Washington D.C. Bethesda Maryland and Columbia Maryland)

Shift: Non-exempt. -Full-Time - 40 hours per week - Mon-Fri - 8:00 - 4:30 p.m.

Salary Range: Minimum 17.37/hour - Maximum 28.68/ will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility.

In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
