Position Overview

Seeking a dedicated School-Based Occupational Therapist (OT) to support students during the academic year. This is an in-person role providing therapy services within a school district setting. Candidates must be comfortable working across multiple campuses if needed.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide occupational therapy services to students in accordance with IEP goals

  • Conduct evaluations and re-evaluations

  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans

  • Collaborate with teachers special education staff and parents

  • Maintain accurate documentation and compliance with school and state regulations

  • Support fine motor sensory integration self-care and classroom participation skills

  • Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions

  • Float between school sites if assigned

Requirements

  • Active California Occupational Therapist (OT) License

  • School-based experience preferred

  • Strong communication and collaboration skills

  • Ability to work independently across multiple school sites if required
