Shipping & Receiving Associate
Position Summary
We are seeking a dependable high-energy Shipping & Receiving Associate to support daily logistics packaging and material flow operations within a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role is critical to ensuring outbound shipments are packaged correctly materials are handled safely and workflow remains efficient.
This position is ideal for someone with prior shipping/receiving experience or a motivated reliable individual early in their career who brings strong work ethic hustle and consistent attendance.
This is a direct-hire opportunity with our customer.
Key Responsibilities
Receive inspect and verify incoming materials and components
Prepare outbound shipments using proper packaging methods including:
Shrink wrap
Boxes and skids
Pallets and wood crates
Tarps and straps
Build crates and secure shipments using nail guns and basic hand tools
Safely operate a hi-lo (forklift) for loading unloading and material movement
Accurately measure materials using tape measures and basic measuring equipment
Ensure shipments are properly labeled documented and staged
Work collaboratively with Toolmakers Supervisors and Production Leaders
Maintain a clean organized and safe shipping/receiving area
Operate efficiently in a fast-paced deadline-driven environment
Assist with outdoor shipment preparation as required (weather exposure possible)
Required Qualifications
Strong work ethic and consistent attendance record
Ability to safely operate a hi-lo (forklift experience required)
Experience using basic hand tools and measuring equipment
Ability to package and secure shipments properly
Comfortable working in a physically demanding environment
No physical restrictions; must be able to lift bend push and stand for extended periods
Able to work outdoors when necessary
Quick thinker and proactive problem solver
Team-oriented with a positive coachable attitude
Able to take direction from Supervisors Managers and Toolmaker Leaders
Federal Program Requirements

Schedule
Monday Friday: 6:00 a.m. 4:30 p.m.
Saturday: 6:00 a.m. 12:00 p.m.
Schedule may be modified based on workload and direction from supervision.
