Who We Are:
Detroit Recovery Project Inc. (DRP) is a Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinic (CCBHC) that provides outpatient recovery support services for individuals with substance use and co-occurring mental health challenges. We treat the whole person through integrated programs of primary medical and behavioral healthcare.
Our program philosophy is rooted in developing a healthy recovery ecosystem for those seeking long-term recovery. Through strong supportive relationships we help clients build skills and stability across five key areas:

Our Youth Recovery Housing program serves young adults ages 1824 providing structure safety and community as they work toward long-term recovery goals.
What Were Looking For:
DRP is hiring a Driver to support our Youth Recovery Housing this role the Driver will safely transport youth residents to appointments work recovery meetings educational opportunities and other essential activities that contribute to their recovery and independence.
This position plays a critical role in maintaining safety reliability and dignity for the young adults we serve.
The Ideal Candidate Will:
  • Safely transport residents to appointments employment school recovery meetings and other program-related activities
  • Maintain professional and respectful communication with residents and staff
  • Conduct daily vehicle inspections and promptly report maintenance concerns
  • Maintain accurate mileage logs and trip documentation
  • Keep vehicles clean and compliant with organizational standards
  • Adhere to all Michigan traffic laws and DRP transportation policies
  • Demonstrate appropriate boundaries and confidentiality
  • Maintain flexibility for occasional evening or weekend transportation needs
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Valid and unrestricted State of Michigan Drivers License
  • Michigan Chauffeurs License required (or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire)
  • Clean driving record (motor vehicle record check required)
  • Minimum of 2 years of driving experience preferred
  • Ability to pass background screening
  • Strong communication skills and professionalism
  • Experience working with youth behavioral health or recovery populations preferred
Compensation:
Compensation for this position is commensurate with experience and determined based on non-discriminatory factors such as skills experience and licensure. This role may be supported through grant funding.
