As a Security Officer - Entry Screener Full-Time in Decatur IL you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution and more. As a Screener at a fast-paced logistics and distribution location you will help support a smooth operation by screening associates and visitors monitoring access points and maintaining a visible presence. You will communicate clearly document security-related activity and partner with site leaders to help identify and address concerns. What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by following Allied Universal security-related procedures site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Screen associates visitors and vendors at designated entry points by conducting access control checks checking credentials and performing package and/or bag inspections as directed by site policy.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner including notifying site contacts and documenting actions taken.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around shipping and receiving areas parking lots and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations.
• Complete security-related reports and logs monitor alarms and/or CCTV when assigned and communicate observations to supervision and site management.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
