What Youll Do:

Initiatework orders when equipment and facility discrepancies are noted or reported by production personnel.
Performpreventive maintenance on all equipment and systems as required. Assistthe Maintenance Supervisor in maintaining Preventive Maintenance records when requested.
Coordinate as directed by the Maintenance Manager with equipment manufacture representatives related industry representatives and local technical specialist in resolving equipment and systems technical or engineering issues.
Construct fabricate and modify equipment and facility systems according to engineering specifications.
Readand interpretblueprints diagrams and equipment specifications.
Operateall equipment required to perform daily job functions i.e. forklift tractor etc.
Maintaina safe clean work area.
Complywith all Safety Rules and Regulations.
Direct the work of others as assigned.
Remainconstantly observant and alert to any unsafe work areas unsafe working conditions and/or unsafe employees and reports these conditions immediately to a supervisor.
Assure compliance with appropriate safety practices and procedures with applicable codes regulations and requirements.

What Youll Bring:

High School Diploma or equivalent required; experience in lieu of education may be considered.
College Degree in Technical or engineering field is desired.
Must be physically and medically capable of wearing a respirator during entire work shift.
At least five-years work experience in a similar or related industrial position.
Must have a thorough working knowledge of typical industrial mechanical hydraulic pneumatic steam and environmental systems.
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules employee handbook operating/maintenance instructions and procedural documents.
Must have well-developed fabricating skills.
Mechanical aptitude.
Must have knowledge and experience in performing preventive maintenance of industrial type equipment and industrial facilities.
PLC programming (Allen Bradley) able to troubleshoot input output and minor modification to code.
Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written oral diagram or schedule form.
