Job Summary

Reports To: Director of ITJob SummaryThe Technology Support Specialist provides essential technical assistance to students faculty and administrative staff across RSU#14. This role focuses on maintaining the functionality of our hardware fleet and ensuring classroom technology remains operational to support uninterrupted instruction. We are looking for a responsive detail-oriented technician with a strong background in Apple ecosystem management. We are seeking a patient and communicative technical expert to support a diverse team with varying levels of digital Responsibilities-Mobile Device Management (MDM): Utilize Jamf to manage deploy and troubleshoot our mobile device fleet (iPads and MacBooks) ensuring all devices are up-to-date and compliant with district policies.-Classroom Tech Troubleshooting: Provide rapid-response support for interactive displays projectors and audio-visual equipment to minimize instructional downtime for teachers and students.-Hardware Support: Act as the primary point of contact for hardware-related issues across macOS Windows and ChromeOS devices.-Network Support: Assist the Network Team in resolving local Wi-Fi and wired connectivity issues for staff and student devices to ensure constant access to educational resources.-Asset Tracking: Maintain an organized and accurate inventory of all district hardware peripherals and repair & SkillsMDM Expertise: Hands-on experience with Jamf Pro for managing Apple devices in an enterprise or educational Familiarity: General proficiency or previous experience with Infinite Campus (or a similar enterprise-level Student Information System) is Proficiency: Deep knowledge of macOS and ChromeOS hardware; comfort troubleshooting Windows-based -Solving: Ability to diagnose and resolve hardware and connectivity issues quickly under School Factor: Ability to remain patient and professional in a high-energy school environment while interacting with students and RequirementsAbility to lift up to 40 lbs (e.g. moving laptop carts or desktop workstations).Reliable transportation for travel between district Join RSU#14A competitive salary and comprehensive district-paid benefits package is included.A supportive IT team dedicated to empowering the next generation of learners through reliable technology.
