Job Description
Elizabethtown College is seeking applicants for the position of Assistant Professor of Occupational Therapy within the School of Sciences and Health. This is a full-time tenure track position to begin in July 2025. The position is open for 9 or 12 months and requires on-campus in-person teaching. This positions primary responsibilities will be in the entry level BS/MS and BS/ OTD programs with possible opportunities for teaching in the post-professional OTD program. The Etown College Occupational Therapy program is well-established with almost 50 years of success at the college and in the profession. Driven by our commitment to Educate for Service the College centers learning on strong relationships experiential learning and emphasizes the value of cross-cultural and international perspectives.
Required Qualifications
Candidates must have an earned doctorate by the time of appointment (July 2025). Candidates must also demonstrate evidence of successful teaching experience in occupational therapy and should have prior experience supervising scholarship or research. Candidates must be currently licensed as an Occupational Therapist in PA or be eligible for licensure in PA. Applicants should include a cover letter resume/CV statement of teaching philosophy a scholarship statement a diversity statement and include contact information for (3) individuals who will be contacted immediately to provide letters of recommendation. Applicant hired must be from one of the following states due to payroll limitations: PA MD NJ NY VT
