DescriptionAs a member of the Customer Success Services (CSS) organization your focus is to deliver post-sales support and solutions to the Oracle customer base while serving as an advocate for customer needs. Your responsibilities include performing system monitoring managing day-to-day operations needed to maintain Cloud services up and running and collaborating with internal teams to implement best practices
Responsibilities- 3+ years of relevant experience as OCI and Database Administration
- Knowledge of OCI environment including compute instances storage security and network resources
- Understanding of Oracle Database technologies and best practices
- Monitor the OCI and Database environment for performance and availability
- Experience with Oracle Enterprise Manager Oracle Database High Availability and Disaster Recovery design
- Knowledge on Observability & Management or any other Observability tools - Basic concepts and Monitoring&Events
- Manage day-to-day operations needed to maintain Cloud services up and running
- Troubleshoot issues related to the OCI and Database environments
- knowledge of Oracle RMAN and other backup and recovery scenarios (nice to have)
- Works with peers to improve products and services delivery and to expand the capabilities of services provided to Oracle customers
- Document OCI configurations and procedures
- Certification: Oracle Cloud Infrastructure Associate/professional or Oracle Database Certified (nice to have)
- Experience in automation using Shell scripts Perl Python Ansible etc
- Good to have knowledge in OS administration (Linux Solaris)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work under pressure - quick thinking and remaining calm during stressful situations.
- Willingness to work in rotational shifts and on weekends from office
- Appetite to learn new technologies and constantly improve technical skills
- Academics: B.E/ Level - IC2
