Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Equipment Operator to join our C5 Stone. The ideal candidate will have experience operating a variety of construction and industrial equipment to ensure safe and efficient project execution. This role offers the opportunity to work on diverse projects utilizing a range of heavy machinery including excavators loaders and trucks. Applicants should possess strong mechanical knowledge and relevant construction site experience to succeed in this dynamic environment.
Duties
- Operate heavy equipment such as dozers loaders backhoes excavators cranes and front loader trucks with precision and adherence to safety standards
- Manage construction site tasks including material handling earthmoving and site preparation
- Operate specialized vehicles such as dump trucks water trucks roll-off trucks and tanker trucks for various project needs
- Utilize concrete mixers and other machinery for construction-related activities
- Perform routine maintenance checks on equipment to ensure optimal performance
- Follow all safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe work environment
- Assist with the setup and breakdown of equipment at job sites
- Collaborate with team members to coordinate project activities efficiently
Skills
- Proven experience operating heavy construction equipment including dozers loaders backhoes excavators cranes and front loader trucks
- Strong mechanical knowledge related to construction machinery and farm equipment
- Ability to operate commercial vehicles such as dump trucks water trucks roll-off trucks tanker trucks and other specialized vehicles
- Construction site experience preferred with an understanding of safety regulations and site protocols
- Familiarity with Caterpillar machinery or similar brands is advantageous
- Ability to read technical manuals and operate machinery based on specifications
- Valid commercial drivers license (CDL) is a plus
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot mechanical issues quickly
- Excellent communication skills and teamwork orientation

Hours: 7:00 am-5:00 pm Mon-Fri. Weather Allowing
Location: Bemidji Park Rapids and neighboring areas
Pay: $25/hr DOQ
