Job Description
As a Security Officer - Access Control Overnightsin Springfield MO you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage and more. Join Allied Universal at a leading food and beverage location where you will support access control by greeting employees and visitors confirming credentials managing check in and/or badge processes and monitoring entry points and cameras for security-related concerns. You will complete routine patrols document activity and communicate clearly with site teams to help maintain smooth operations. What Youll Do:
- Provide customer service to employees contractors and visitors by following security-related procedures site-specific policies and when appropriate emergency response activities at a food and/or beverage production and distribution location.
- Control access at gates guard shacks and/or entry points by verifying identification issuing badges and/or visitor passes managing sign-in logs and directing approved visitors to the correct areas.
- Screen inbound and outbound vehicle and/or truck traffic by checking appointments shipping and/or receiving documentation and reporting irregularities according to site procedures to help to deter unauthorized access.
- Monitor alarms access control systems cameras and door status and communicate concerns to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership in a calm problem-solving manner.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings yards and perimeter areas as assigned documenting observations and reporting maintenance hazards policy violations and/or suspicious activity.
Minimum Requirements:
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
