Job description
G4S an Allied Universal company is the worlds leading international security solutions group. We are currently seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Banking & Cash Officer to join our Finance team in Metamorfosi.
In this role you will report to the Finance Manager and handle the day-to-day flow of financial transactions with a particular focus on bank guarantees and payment reconciliations.
Job Responsibilities:
Manage daily bookkeeping tasks and process Accounts Payable/Receivable transactions
Perform bank reconciliations and ensure all financial systems remain aligned
Assist in the administration of the Bank Guarantee lifecycle (issuance amendments and cancellations) according to contract terms
Keep our guarantee register up to date tracking expiry dates and handling timely renewals
Review and process vendor payments and employee expense reports
Assist the team with monthly quarterly and year-end financial reporting
Look for ways to improve our current treasury and data entry processes
Job requirements
Skills and Qualifications:
University degree (Bachelors) in Finance Accounting or Economics
1-2 years of experience in a similar accounting or treasury position
Fluency in both Greek and English (written and verbal)
Excellent use of MS Excel or Google Workspace (Sheets Docs etc)
Experience using ERP systems
High level of accuracy and attention to detail
Ability to stay organized and meet deadlines during busy month-end periods
