What this job involves:
JLL is hiring a team member to provide janitorial services at Cherry Lane Shopping Centre. A primary focus of this role will be ensuring the food court is kept clean and tidy for guests.
The typical shift is a 40 hour work week including weekends. You must be available during shopping centre hours.
What your day-to-day will look like:
Clean building floors by sweeping mopping scrubbing steam cleaning shampooing or vacuuming
Gather and empty trash and recycling.
Service clean and supply restrooms.
Clean and polish furniture and fixtures.
Operate vacuums sweepers and other equipment as usually associated with janitorial services.
Clean windows glass partitions and mirrors using soapy water or other cleaners sponges and squeegees using appropriate solutions tools and equipment.
Dust furniture walls machines and equipment.
Move furniture equipment and supplies to clean under them either manually or by using hand trucks.
Clear debris from grounds.
Notify managers concerning the need for major repairs and assist as needed.
Required Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent is an asset
Able to stand and walk for prolonged periods.
Willingness to learn
Reliable and able to work independently
Good communication and interpersonal skills
Ability work evening and weekends and flexibility to provide coverage as needed.
Estimated compensation for this position:
This range is an estimate and actual compensation may differ. Final compensation packages are determined by various considerations including but not limited to candidate qualifications location market conditions and internal considerations.
