Job Summary:The Postdoctoral Fellow provides for an internship and continuation of scholarly activity and research after achieving the PhD or other doctoral degree under the direction of a senior faculty member who serves as a mentor for the postdoctoral appointee.
Additional Department Summary:This position is for one year. The teaching load is 2 courses 6 credit hours per year (a 2/1 load). Candidates are expected to provide effective teaching and carry out research in collaboration with members of members of one of our research groups. See our web page for more information.
Additional Required Department Minimum Qualifications: Ph.D. in Mathematics or a closely related field and demonstrate the potential for research excellence in one of our research groups. A successful candidate will be expected to have sufficient experience to teach across the undergraduate curriculum.
