Role Title:Refinery Operator

Salary:42740.14

Working Hours:Rotating:12-hour days & nights shift pattern (2 days 2 nights 4off)

Location:Manchester 456 wellington Road N Stockport SK4 5AU

About the role:

Reporting into the Refinery shift co-ordinator will focus on the efficient production of Chocolate intake of ingredients and distribution of chocolate.

The key responsibilities of the role include:

  • Operating up to three mixing/refining lines and three conching lines at once.

  • Checking the whole process from ingredients to the finished product for any issues

  • Alarm handling and prioritisation of follow-up actions to minimise downtime or stoppages

  • Handling line startups running batches and shutting down when required

  • Making sure each batch gets the correct QC additions so it meets the final product specification

  • Updating team members about any issues or upcoming tasks you see on the control screens

Bring your experience!

Essential

  • PC literate (google Microsoft office)

  • Previous experience of manufacturing chocolate

Qualifications required

  • Food safety level 2.

  • Manual Handling Qualification

  • Health and Safety Qualification

Personal attributes required

  • e.g team player leadership etc

  • Demonstrate positive PACE behaviours at Personal Leadership Level:

  • Technical / Professional Skills

  • Knowledge and application of business tools

  • Ability to carry out and continuously improve operational processes and procedures

What does the recruitment process consist of

  • Assessments Swift Comprehensive Aptitude assessment along with a Workplace English assessment. These should take around 45 60 minutes to complete.

  • Interview 45-60 minutecompetency-based interview based on our company values and your experience.
