Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Assistant Professor to join the Department of Anesthesiology and Perioperative Medicine at the University of Alabama at Birmingham ( UAB ) in the Heersink School of Medicine. The Assistant Professor will participate in quality and research initiatives and focus on health disparities. Additionally the Assistant Professor will perform study design and statistical analysis as well as collaborate with team members to complete special projects and publications. This role will also mentor medical students and participate on various committees.
Required Qualifications
1. Ph.D. or M.D. 2. Proven track record of research and publication in relevant fields. 3. Excellent communication skills with the ability to present complex findings to diverse audiences 4. Experience in mentoring and training junior staff or students. 5. Ability to work collaboratively across departments and with external partners.
