Job Description
As a Security Guard - Access Control Driver in New Albany OH you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial and more. Join Allied Universal at a fast-paced manufacturing and industrial location supporting access control and guest management at key entry points. You will check badges and credentials log visitors and deliveries and communicate clearly with site teams while conducting routine patrols to help identify security-related concerns. This is a driving post requiring a valid drivers license offering a role where integrity teamwork and a people-first approach make a daily impact.

What Youll Do:
- Provide customer service to personnel and visitors by following site-specific security-related procedures access requirements and emergency response activities as appropriate.
- Control entry and exit at gates and/or lobbies by verifying identification issuing temporary credentials when authorized and maintaining visitor and contractor logs.
- Monitor cameras alarms and access control systems and report irregular activity hazards and/or maintenance concerns per site policy.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner including initiating notifications and documenting actions taken.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of production areas warehouses loading docks and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized access and report observed issues.
Minimum Requirements:
- A valid drivers license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
- Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
