Job Summary
About the Role
The Chargeman is responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of all electrical systems and equipment within the facility. This role requires compliance with regulations set by Suruhanjaya Tenaga and strong hands-on experience in electrical maintenance and troubleshooting.
The Chargeman plays a critical role in maintaining operational continuity minimizing downtime and ensuring workplace electrical safety.
What You Will Do
Install inspect and maintain electrical systems and equipment such as:
Compressor
DTV
Vacuum system
Blower
Gas Farm
Fire protection system
HVAC system
PCWP
Heat exhaust system
Perform preventive and predictive maintenance on electrical installations.
Troubleshoot and resolve electrical faults and machine breakdowns.
Ensure compliance with electrical safety regulations and low voltage requirements.
Collect and record system data and report equipment performance to supervisors.
Support engineers and supervisors in projects commissioning and technical tasks.
What You Will Need
Valid Electrical Chargeman Certificate ( A1 or A4) issued by Suruhanjaya Tenaga (mandatory).
Minimum 12 years of relevant experience in electrical maintenance.
Knowledge of preventive and predictive maintenance practices.
Strong troubleshooting skills.
Good teamwork responsibility and commitment to safety standards.
