Hours: Fulltime 37.5 hrs per week

NEC Telecom MODUS Ltd. (NECTML) is part of the NEC group of companies; this unique partnership is wholly dedicated to undertake research and development relating to key elements of long term evolutions (LTE) mobile communication systems for the NEC Corporation Group.
The Opportunity
We are seeking an Executive / Principal Compliance Manager to join our Senior Management Team. This is a pivotal role overseeing all compliance activities across the company ensuring we meet NEC internal standards and UK regulatory requirements.
Youll advise senior colleagues motivate teams to follow best practice and manage relationships with external advisors. This is a broad influential role with visibility across the organisation.
Key Responsibilities
Lead compliance activities across Health & Safety Information Security Quality Management Export Controls Risk Legal/Personal Data Protection and Business Continuity.
Advise the Senior Management Team on compliance issues and best practice.
Ensure monitoring auditing and recordkeeping of compliance activities.
Work with the Office Manager on Health & Safety and training programmes.
Manage external advisors and oversee compliance budgets.
About You
Experience in compliance management ideally across areas such as antibribery data protection export controls and ISO9001 quality systems.
Strong communication and people skills to influence and motivate colleagues.
Excellent literacy and numeracy with the ability to draft clear policies and analyse budgets.
Previous experience working within a similar industry (technology telecoms or R&D) is desirable.
Knowledge of risk management business continuity and general business legal matters is desirable.
