Role Purpose:
The Brewing Supervisor ensures that daily and weekly brewing tasks are completed on time and according to SOPs while keeping Safety and Quality at the forefront. This role actively monitors fermentation efficiency process performance CIP effectiveness and mentors and holds brewing operators accountable for safety quality productivity and teamwork.
Accountabilities & Impact:
- Supervise all aspects of the brewing process including kitting batching laboratory work filtration raw material unloading control room operations and inventory
- Utilize understanding of fermentation science to monitor fermenter efficiency and movement
- Monitor brewing process parameters such as ABV DO CO2 concentration and more
- Assist in shift scheduling and ensure proper staffing to meet production demands
- Ensure complete accurate records for inventory checks quality inspections sanitation and CI; complete performance audits against SOPs
Skills & Experiences Needed:
- Associate degree and/or equivalent experience Bachelors preferred
- 5 Years of supervisory/leadership experience in manufacturing
- Brewing Certifications Preferred
- Lean Six Sigma or similar program experience
- Leadership communication and ability to coach in a manufacturing setting
- Understanding of basic brewing process including fermentation science A&C systems and more
