Job Summary
Value Added Distributors is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Production Associate to join our team in Dyersville IA. This full-time opportunity offers a competitive pay rate of $16 per hour.

YOUR ROLE
As a Production Associate you will begin each day by preparing your work area and reviewing the production requirements for your shift. You will be responsible for accurately cutting and assembling hydraulic hoses ensuring that all work is completed in accordance with company policies procedures and customer specifications. Throughout your shift you will operate hand tools power tools and other equipment in a safe manner while also completing necessary inspection paperwork and maintaining a clean work environment. You will collaborate with your team to meet production targets and address any product nonconformance. Additional duties may be assigned as needed to support company customer or regulatory requirements. Your attention to quality and adherence to safety standards will be essential to your success in this role.
YOUR SCHEDULE
The Production Associate position follows a Monday through Friday schedule from 7:00 am to 3:30 pm. Overtime may be required as business needs arise. This is a day shift role providing a predictable routine and work-life balance.
REQUIREMENTS
- 18 years of age or older
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to use equipment such as saws crimpers and forklifts
- Willingness to learn and follow standard practices
- Ability to read and interpret technical work instructions and documents
- Ability to safely lift up to 30 lbs. using proper technique
- Ability to apply basic math skills (add subtract multiply divide) and use tape measures and digital calipers
- Basic computer skills and ability to type 25 wpm
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to balance competing priorities and meet deadlines with a sense of urgency
Prior manufacturing experience is a plus. Forklift certification is also a plus but training is provided as needed.
