Job Description
As a Security Guard - Unarmed Patrol in Los Angeles CA you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries. As an unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a busy professional location you will monitor assigned areas and conduct routine foot patrols to help to deter security-related incidents. You will remain visible support access control processes and communicate clearly with employees visitors and your team. What Youll Do:
- Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities when appropriate.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner including documenting observations and notifying site contacts and/or public emergency services as needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of the location including interior areas exterior grounds and perimeter points to help to deter unwanted activity and identify maintenance and/or policy concerns.
- Monitor access points and common areas verify identification and/or visitor authorization when required and help to maintain orderly entry and exit.
- Complete reports and shift documentation per Allied Universal and site requirements including incident reports patrol logs and/or activity summaries.
Minimum Requirements:
- Have at least 6 months of security-related experience.
- Access Control/Badge Experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
