Security Officer Day Shift Patrol Driver

As a Security Officer - Day Shift Patrol Driver in Columbus OH you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom and more. As an unarmed Patrol Officer supporting a leading tech data center location you will monitor and patrol assigned areas complete routine rounds and stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents. You will document activity communicate clearly with site teams and deliver customer service that reflects Allied Universal values of integrity and teamwork. This is a driving post requiring a valid drivers license in line with AU Driver Policy requirements.

What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to site employees contractors and/or visitors by carrying out security-related procedures site-specific policies and when appropriate emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner and assist with timely notifications and documentation per post orders.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings corridors equipment areas and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations.
• Monitor access points and security-related systems verify authorization as required and report irregular conditions such as doors left ajar damaged fencing and/or suspicious activity.
• Complete detailed written reports and logs support shift turnover communications and coordinate with site contacts and/or local responders as directed.

Minimum Requirements:

• Client requires proof of high school diploma and/or GED.
• A valid drivers license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
