Quality Assurance Specialist

C² Technologies seeks a Quality Assurance Specialist to ensure the overall quality of products and materials. The role involves ensuring that products meet usability standards function properly across delivery platforms and comply with government policies regarding PII and an onsite or hybrid position.

Summary:
The Quality Assurance Specialist will be responsible for reviewing and testing training products maintaining records of product versions and ensuring that products meet quality and usability standards across all platforms.

Responsibilities:

• Test products for functionality and usability across platforms.

• Ensure compliance with Section 508 and PII handling standards.

• Work with design teams to address usability and functionality issues early in development.

• Maintain records and document product versions and changes.

Required Education Experience and Skills:

• Bachelors degree in Journalism English Communications or related field.

• 2 years of related experience.

• Demonstrated experience in testing training products for functionality and usability.

• Proficiency in copyediting proofreading and applying style guides.

Preferred Education Experience and Skills:

• Experience with SCORM and learning management systems.

• Familiarity with Section 508 accessibility guidelines.

• Experience working with change and version control systems.

Tools & Software:

• Testing tools and software for usability and functionality.

• Content management and learning management systems (LMS).

Knowledge & Skills:

• Knowledge of accessibility standards and usability best practices.

• Ability to work with cross-functional teams to resolve issues.

• Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
